About Us
The Faculty of Health Studies enables you to gain professional competence to provide health care and to practice non-medical health professions.
Bachelor's degree programmes include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Paediatric Nursing, Midwifery, Radiological Assisting, General Nursing, Paramedicine, Biomedical Technology and Health Protection. We also offer a follow-up study programme Teaching of Professional Subjects for Medical Schools and a newly accredited study programme Organisation and Management in Health Care.
Study
UJEP is an established brand for the labour market. Employers know that our school adapts studies to practice. And there where they don't know our graduates, your study and practical experience will soon stand out.
The challenges of the Ústí region play in your favour in this case. What you learn in the classroom, you will soon put to the test on internships at home or abroad.
Science and Research
We do active theory and practice. The Laboratory for the Study of Movement and the Laboratory of Prevention and Health Promotion at the Faculty will be at your disposal. Both collaborate with domestic and foreign research institutes.
Our most important cooperation is with Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem, o. z. , Krajské zdravotní, a. s. , where we jointly manage a total of 16 clinical departments, including the newest addition – the Oncology Clinic. Practical skills are thus more than easy to be had.

You can find us on the premises of the Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem. The main entrance of the faculty is near the hospital building A (atrium). The faculty is accessible by public transport lines 80 and 85 (stop Masarykova nemocnice). Coordinates: 50.678978, 14.020063.
