New Buildings and Labs

Centre for Natural Sciences and Technologies (CPTO)

Environment for Modern Teaching

The CPTO building is the largest building on the university campus and the new architectural landmark of the city. Its construction, costing more than 700 million Czech crowns, was completed in June 2020. It is home to the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Environment of UJEP. The facilities of this generously conceived building, dedicated to science, research, education and the meeting of inquisitive people, are one of the key steps on the way to raising the traditionally industrial region of Ústí to a new level.

The entire project is implemented from the RE:START project aimed at the economic restructuring of the Ústí, Moravian-Silesian and Karlovy Vary regions.
